THE SAFETY AND WELL-BEING OF OUR VISITORS AND STAFF IS THE ASA PACKER MANSION MUSEUM'S HIGHEST PRIORITY. THE MANSION WILL BE OPEN 11:00 A.M. UNTIL 3:30 P.M. WEDNESDAY- MONDAY (CLOSED TUESDAY) JUNE- OCT, UNLESS TOURS ARE SOLD OUT FOR THE DAY. TICKETS ARE SOLD ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS. NO ONLINE SALES OR PRE-SOLD TICKETS.
THE GROUNDS OF THE MANSION ARE OPEN FROM 11AM TO APPROXIMATELY 4PM & ARE SECURED AFTER THE LAST TOUR OF THE DAY DEPARTS. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.

Daily Tour Information and Hours of Operation
CLOSED- RE-OPENS FOR WEEKEND TOURS IN APRIL 2024
The Mansion will be open June-October Wednesday- Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. (Closed Tuesday)
November open weekends ONLY from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
December open first 2 weekends only (12/7-12/8 & 12/14-12/15 from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. *WEATHER PERMITTING*
April-May open weekends ONLY from 11:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.
Once you purchase tickets, there will be no more than half an hour wait for a tour. The last tour departs promptly at 3:30 unless otherwise noted. Tours consist of a docent-guided presentation detailing the history of the Packer Family and visitors have an opportunity to view the original contents of the house. Please be advised that tours can last up to 45 minutes depending upon the size of the group, the number of questions asked, and the level of interest. As tours can sell out rather quickly, it is recommended that you purchase tickets for your tour as soon as you arrive at The Mansion. Tour times may vary!
*OCTOBER TOURS ARE SHORTENED TO 30 MIN TO ACCOMODATE THE LARGE CROWDS*

Groups of 15 or more guests are required to make a reservation. Reservations may be made by contacting the Mansion at (570) 325-3229 after the Memorial Day weekend.
Admission Prices
Admission is by docent-guided tour only.
- General Admission(Ages 19-54) $13.00
- Senior Citizen(Ages 55+) $11.00
- Student (Ages 6-18) $10.00
- Child(Ages 5-Under)*$6.00

Personal checks cannot be accepted at this time.
Group tour rates are based on Admission categories.
*Please be advised that the tour is not recommended for small children due to the content and duration of the tour.
Customs and Courtesies
The Mansion is original to the 1860s, and does have one public restroom. There is a Comfort Station - with tourist information and additional public restrooms - provided by the Pocono Mountain Visitors Bureau at the Train Station.
Speaking Engagements
Should your organization or business wish to have a speaking engagement with regard to the Packer Family, please contact us, via email, at lionsasapacker@gmail.com to make the appropriate arrangements. The Museum would be more than willing to come to speak on behalf of the Asa Packer Mansion and/or the Packer Family, for a non-profit donation to the Museum.
The Fall Foliage Festival: October 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26 and 27, 2024
The Mansion will be open for tours during the entire month of October. Due to the high volume of visitors, weekend tours during the Fall Foliage Festival will be abbreviated, lasting 30 minutes. On Fall Foliage weekends, tours will go into the house every 30 minutes starting at 11 through 3:30 pm. Tickets are sold on a first come - first serve basis. Please be advised that The Mansion does not offer Halloween or "scary" tours. Weekend group tours may only be scheduled prior to 11:00 A.M. It is recommended that groups reserve tours well in advance .
Olde Time Christmas: December 7, 8, 14 and 15, 2024 - WEATHER PERMITTING
The Mansion will be open for tours during the first two weekends of Olde Time Christmas - weather permitting - from 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Restroom Facilities
The Mansion is original to the 19th Century and contains priceless objects that were owned by the Packer family. In order to preserve The Mansion's authenticity, visitors are required to observe and adhere to the following policies to ensure the best possible visit for all:
- Smoking is prohibited.
- Please turn off all cellular phones and other electronic devices.
- Food and beverages are prohibited inside The Mansion.
- Strollers and large backpacks or bags are not permitted inside The Mansion.
- Still photography, filming, video and audio recording are prohibited while on tour.
- Stay together as a group. Be attentive to your docent’s instructions at all times.
- Please do not touch the artifacts as the oils and acids even in clean hands can cause irreparable damage.
- Do not sit or lean upon the furnishings. Refrain from leaning on walls.
If we detect any violation of the rules through our guides or security system, you will be asked to leave the property.
